Aquatic Engineering & Construction, part of Acteon Group, is a global leader in laying and retrieving flexible and semi-rigid products from the seabed in support of the renewables, oil and gas and telecommunications markets. The company has proven ability in shallow and deep water, and extensive experience of off- and onshore installations, transpooling, recovery and decommissioning.

Aquatic are currently looking for an Office Administrator to join the team on a full time, permanent basis at our South View Place site in Peterhead. The successful candidate will provide reception and administrative support to the operations and engineering teams based here, and at other Aquatic sites.


  • Manage visitors / third party contractors to facility ensuring they have been inducted and issued with appropriate PPE
  • General administration requirements of the Peterhead SVP facilities
  • Update Equipment Spares Lists as instructed by Materials Coordinator
  • Update Hose Registers/Lifting Certificates as instructed by Workshop Supervisor
  • Update of Navision in reference to equipment movements
  • Input maintenance records
  • Management of the Central Assets equipment schedule
  • Completion of Commercial Invoice Packing List (CIPL)
  • Arrange local equipment logistics and craneage
  • Raise POs in accordance with authority matrix and resolve invoice queries
  • Compile and issue weekly yard meeting report
  • Collate yard timesheets and expenses and send to Finance
  • Responsible for petty cash, sending expense form to Finance and top up requests
  • Order stationery and other office items
  • To ensure that any injury, near miss, potentially unsafe/hazardous or any other occurrence which may cause injury to personnel, damage to equipment, or affect the local environment, is reported correctly in line with Aquatic procedures
  • To ensure Aquatic health and safety policies, procedures and safety rules are complied with at all times


  • Experience in a similar multifaced role would be highly desired
  • Experience using Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Self-motivated, confident & enthusiastic
  • Able to maintain composure whilst under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise workload
  • Ability communicate with a wide variety of people confidently & efficiently
