InterMoor are currently looking to add a Trainee Equipment Maintenance Assistant to their team based in Montrose. The Trainee Equipment Maintenance Assistant will be responsible for assisting the Senior Stores Operative with carrying out duties to facilitate the maintenance and assessment of condition of palletised mooring equipment, as well as mobilisation and demobilisation of same.

Duties/Responsibilities

* Working under instruction of Senior and Middle management at various locations
* Maintenance of all palletised goods held in InterMoor equipment inventory
* Assisting with required operations which may include direct contact with Client representatives
* General duties including all aspects of housekeeping and stock control
* Equipment Inspection in line with guidelines on pass/fail criteria
* Liaising with Ops team at Tern Place House and Miller St respectively with regards to current and upcoming hires and hire returns

Requirements

* Experience in a similar role with experience of mooring equipment handling and inspections preferred but not essential
* Basic Forklift Certification is preferred but not essential
* Full UK Driving Licence is preferred but not essential
* Excellent communicator, in both written and verbal forms with highly effective inter-personal skills supported by good attention to detail
* Ability to work independently and proactively with a strong sense of personal accountability and self-motivation as well as collaboratively within a team
* Ability to promote best practice and QHSE compliance, raising standards through demonstration of own behaviours
