Claxton are currently looking for a Supply Chain Management and Projects Administrator to join our Singapore team. The successful candidate will be based in Tuas.

The Supply Chain Management and Projects Administrator has the responsibility of supporting Supply Chain and Projects in all areas of the operations of the business. By liaising with external agencies and internal departments, you will ensure that the administration needs of the Supply Chain and Projects are met and that Company procedures are followed.

The successful candidate will also be required to foresee that all assets are registered on Claxton systems, and keep existing client databases are updated daily and manage the logistics of the rental and sales pools ensuring the accurate control of goods in/out, stock, asset control, rental equipment and to ensure these are transported accordingly. By liaising with external agencies and internal departments, you will ensure that the import and export needs of the Supply Chain division are met and that Company procedures are followed. The employee will also be required to assist with visas, travel, course bookings and oversee that all paperwork is kept to ISO 9001 standards.


  • Ordering stock from suppliers to fulfil customer demand and maintaining service levels
  • Processing order confirmations from suppliers quickly and effectively, liaising with other departments where necessary
  • Maintaining all documents relating to supply chain process in accordance with the company's quality requirements
  • Supporting the function of the supply chain department
  • Negotiate the best service and price from suppliers and achieve maximum cost reduction to produce margin improvements.
  • Attend all monthly/quarterly operations review meetings with assigned customers.
  • Work with colleagues to ensure the stock system is updated and the team is made aware of any missing/damaged items equipment return.
  • Entering of all goods received to the stock system and correlating the items received to the purchase order to ensure our order requirements are fulfilled.
  • Update contracts with any contract changes including PO, Standby rates, Off-hire etc as indicated by the Sales Team.
  • Work with relevant Manager to set, monitor & review work load schedule of the department
  • Work with Manager to ensure sufficient and qualified staffing are available to meet work requirements by arranging Training plans for the team to keep their training matrix up to date.
  • Assist and co-ordinate with visas, travel, accommodation.
  • Maintain and monitor Stationeries / Pantry supplies
  • General administration duties; e.g. copying, filing, sending documents and similar.


  • Certificate level qualification, ideally in business or accounts
  • Minimum of one-year experience of administration in business environment is preferable
  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills
  • Strong communication skills; e.g. copy writing, proof-reading
  • Confident in using Word, Excel and Outlook in the workplace to carry out a variety of tasks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Able to apply sound judgement and decision-making.
  • Singaporean PR/Citizen.
  • Valid Passport.
