LDD, part of Acteon Group, is a marine and subsea foundation specialist. Using our extensive in field experience, we design, engineer, build and operate world class pile-installation, lifting equipment and drilling equipment to deliver tubular foundations of any size, in any geology, anywhere.
LDD are currently looking to hire a driven & diligent QHSE Manager. Based in Camborne, Cornwall. The successful candidate will take ownership of all QHSE systems, processes and policies, with the aim of a Company-wide positive QHSE culture.
This is a full time permanent position, working as part of the fastest growing Segment of Acteon.
Key Responsibilities
- To focus on the implementation and delivery of the Segment QHSE strategy and ensure the business QHSE objectives are achieved.
- Management of all QHSE systems, processes and policies, with the aim of a Company-wide positive QHSE culture.
- Implementation of QHSE continuous improvements plans and programs throughout the business and obtaining buy-in from all the teams.
- To ensure all QHSE assurance and accreditations are in place and sustained; utilising internal and external audits to measure sustainment and improvements for the Operating Company
- To ensure all relevant laws and regulations relating to HSE are maintained, highlighting to the Operating Company Managing Director where breaches of legislation are identified.
- Produce accurate and timely QHSE information and management reports and liaise with the Senior Management Team (SMT).
- Report to and work with the Managing Director to ensure the Company HSE systems are adhered to by all the teams/staff to ensure the required positive culture and standards are achieved.
- Work with procurement teams to establish quality requirements from external suppliers.
- Ensure that manufacturing and production processes meet International and Nationals standards.
- Review customer requirements to ensure they are met with the highest standards
Required
- Minimum 3 years in health and safety position across multi-site organisations.
- Good working knowledge of health safety and environmental management systems and current legislation & best practice.
- Coached/mentored staff.
- Certificate in Health and Safety and/or Environmental Science and working toward Diploma
- Membership of recognised industry body.
- Experience and Knowledge of implementation of behavioural safety programmes, occupational health and mental health strategies.
