TerraSond is looking to add an experienced Project Manager to the team. The Project Manager will be accountable for the delivery of projects, and management of personnel and equipment in accordance with TerraSond's business and safety management systems for all assigned projects. The Project Manager will coordinate the activities of the project management team with respect to all day to day operational, financial, technical, contractual, and commercial activities. The Project Manager will also provide support to group functions in order to successfully win and execute work and drive the continuous improvement of TerraSond services.


The ideal candidate will be based in Houston, but we are open to candidates throughout the USA.


Duties

  • Monitoring contract quality control to ensure all works are carried out in accordance with the company Business Management System (BMS)
  • Liaise with clients on company execution of projects and be a continual liaison regarding performance feedback
  • Lead client service quality meetings, ensuring service quality is at a continuous high standard
  • Responsibility for the direct management of assigned vessels and projects
  • Monitor all matters related to Occupational Health, Working Safety and Environmental Protection in accordance with the Company Safety Management System (SMS)
  • Work with functional Directors on the review and revision of operational procedures as part of the company's commitment to continuous improvement
  • Ensure projects are proceeding according to scope, schedule, budget, and quality standards
  • Manage ongoing quality control and participate in quality issue resolution
  • Participate in establishing practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization


Required

  • Minimum 5 years relevant experience within the offshore survey industry
  • 5+ years of project management experience, including tracking and planning projects
  • 5+ years of experience working with business stakeholders within a cross-functional matrix environment
  • 1+ years of previous experience with gathering requirements from the client / business and documentation
  • 3+ years of experience with full project lifecycle with understanding of development lifecycle and various technology methodologies that support that lifecycle
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint with experience presenting to stakeholders and/or Senior Leadership
  • Proven ability to demonstrate a drive for results and accountability of business needs
  • Proven ability to work in an ambiguous environment and collaborate across multiple areas to achieve a common business objective
  • Interpersonal skills to influence and spur change, facilitate, and enhance performance within a cross - functional environment
