MENCK Pte Ltd are currently looking for a Project and Equipment Engineer to join the team, on a full time basis based in Tuas. This is an exciting opportunity for an engineer with a strong interest in equipment to join the team.

Responsibilities

  • Coordination and leadership of engineering support to MENCK Group Offshore Projects within the South East Asian, China and Australasian region and other regions as required for MENCK Group and Acteon Companies
  • Managing the maintenance and preparation of MENCK Equipment stored in Singapore
  • Performing engineering design tasks
  • Assignment of equipment to projects as per the engineering specification; placing orders for required parts; overseeing fabrication projects performed locally in Singapore
  • Participation in Business Improvement initiatives, both within the Global Services Team and within the wider MENCK Aquatic Group, delivering performance improvements in line with stated objectives
  • Proactive involvement in the Quality Management and Lessons Learned process for these tasks; leading of process improvement activities within these areas to deliver cost and quality benefits to the business
  • Commitment to HSE and in particular safety and assurance to ensure zero harm to people or the environment


Required

  • Candidates with a relevant engineering degree preferred
  • Strong Engineering domain knowledge essential
  • Decisive & able to initiate action
  • Strong planning and organising skills
  • The ability to apply engineering and technical expertise
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Candidates must have either a Singapore PR or be a Singapore Citizen
