Claxton is now recruiting for a full-time, permanent Offshore Supervisor. Reporting to the Project & Operations Manager, the Offshore Supervisor is to lead offshore operations for Claxton operation and support workshop for Equipment Preparation in Claxton Facility in Tuas, Singapore. The Offshore Supervisor required to run Offshore Operations as a fully competent Supervisor and act as a focal point between Claxton and Customer while offshore. The role is multi-facetted and includes elements of understanding Claxton equipment, equipment maintenance, equipment preparation, mobilization, demobilization and operation of equipment at the workshop including trouble-shooting.

Duties/Responsibilities

  • Lead as a member of offshore teams in delivery of Claxton projects such as Water Abrasive Cutting System, Mechanical Cutter such as Diamond Wire Cutter, Soil Plug Removal Tool, Centralizers, Hydro Hammer (S-150 & S-90)
  • Perform equipment servicing and troubleshooting such as Multi String Cutter, Diamond Wire Cutter, Hydraulic Power Unit, Air Compressor, Hugh Pressure Pump, Diesel Engine, Etc in line with Claxton Technical and Safety requirements
  • Diagnose/repair any equipment faults in both Offshore and workshop
  • Follow, and adhere to, all applicable workshop documentation and standards
  • Assist to correctly mobilize, maintain and operate equipment
  • Adhere to Claxton, and where appropriate Client Company's, Quality, Health, Safety & Environment Policies and Safety Management Systems
  • Provide clear instructions during offshore and onshore operations to minimize risk and maximize quality of performance
  • Actively pursue learning and development of competence in Claxton Facility
  • Participate in finding solutions to complex technical problems
  • Document lessons learnt, opportunities for improvement and non-conformances
  • May required to Drive 15T Forklift, Potential Working at Height, Operating of Gantry Crane


Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years' Experience in Oil & Gas Service Environment, specifically on subsea cutting, decommissioning and Hydro Hammer equipment
  • A Diploma degree in engineering or technology (Mechanical or Electrical/Electronic or hybrid thereof)
