Job Description

Duties

  • Design and analysis of subsea structures, riser systems, and components from concept through detailed design
  • Work within a project team with individual mentorship, and on the job training
  • Preparation of technical deliverables, including reports
  • Client interfacing based on completed project work


Required

  • Currently enrolled in an accredited bachelor's degree or master's degree program in Mechanical, Structural, Ocean Engineering, or a related discipline with GPA of 3.5 or above
  • Software experience with Microsoft Office, finite element analysis packages, and some knowledge of computer programming is preferable but not essential
  • Aptitude and enthusiasm for carrying out analytical work efficiently
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Desire to take responsibility and ownership of tasks
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • A desire to develop their career and expertise in the oil and gas industry
  • Previous experience with industry standard software is advantageous, but not essential as full training will be provided
